The Carbon Mimetic spear gun is part of a specific line of products designed by Marco Bardi called “Inshore Hunting Line by Marco Bardi” dedicated to highly technical spearfishing enthusiasts, who privilege fishing in shallow and medium depth waters.
The barrel is made in carbon fiber and the thickness is the same of the Carbonium model: 1.5 mm. This spear gun is available in only one length: 83 cm. This intermediate length allows better handling than a classic 90 cm but also greater power than the smaller 75 cm, making it the perfect weapon to spearfish in shallow waters.

1 - The muzzle has been reinforced in some parts but has maintained the same basic advantages. Having used Nylon 66 with 50% fiber glass to inject mold this part, we were able to not compromise its structure and still maintain the hydrodynamics of the aluminum made muzzle.

2 - The trigger mechanism is the classic Omer Excalibur “Frictionless Release”. Thanks to a small wheel working on the trigger, the release of shafts is very smooth and precise. The mechanism also features an automatic line releaser. As an alternative to the automatic system, the line can also be positioned on the bottom of the handle in the more classic “crocodile mouth”. Finally, the handle also features a guide for plastic and aluminum reels.

3 - The mimetic color is a mixture of different tonalities of blue and gray very similar to the colors used for the Omer wet suit “Ocean Mimetic”. The color is obtained by positioning a printed sticker on the carbon fiber barrel under the epoxy resin coating.
