| The Omer
“Dragon” has been designed and
developed under specific requests of our enthusiasts
who demanded a simple and economical speargun but
yet a reliable “Omer speargun”.
The Dragon features the same muzzle used on the Excalibur
2000 and also the same triggering mechanism. The main
difference is the way the handle has been manufactured.
The barrel does not feature the adjustable shaft guide
and coupling between the handle and the shaft is done
with a male attachment, while on the Excalibur 2000
is done by both a male and female system.
The triggering mechanism is the Excalibur Omer patented
“Frictionless Release” featuring an automatic
line release.

1
- While the butt-rest on the back of the handle is
removable on the Excalibur 2000 in the Dragon it is
attached with the handle and cannot be removed. The
Excalibur 2000 handle is molded in a single piece,
the Dragon is molded in two shells which are then
assembled with stainless steel screws.
2 - Although this manufacturing
process has allowed us to reduce some processing and
assembly costs, the quality of the finished product
is still very high, compared to other guns of this
class on the market today.
3 - OMER Excalibur 2000 low profile
muzzle for parallel alignment with the power bands |
